Renting nodes

How to choose and rent a node, hold it while you decide, and rent several nodes at once.

Renting a node is the core action in EvaFarm. This section covers choosing a node, reservations, and renting several nodes at once.

Choosing a node

The Nodes tab shows all available machines with their status, GPU/CPU/RAM configuration, and hourly price. You can rent nodes with the Ready status (available). Filters and search help you find the right configuration quickly.

Reservation

When you add a node to the cart, it is reserved for you while you check out, so no other user can take it. If you change your mind, remove the node from the cart or cancel the reservation, and it becomes available again.

Canceling reservations too often temporarily limits your ability to reserve. This protects against nodes being “held” without use.

Several nodes at once

You can select several nodes and rent them in one operation. Each node gets its own session, its own invoice and its own connection details. You can manage them independently on the Active sessions tab.

What happens after you rent

The node goes through a quick pre-start (availability check, password rotation, software preparation), and then the session switches to Active status. Rental charges start only after a successful start. If the pre-start fails, you are not charged.

Renting through a project

Every new rental requires a project, whether you start on the Nodes tab or on the Rent tab inside the project. Payment comes from the project wallet. Your personal wallet is used to top up projects, including automatic top-ups. Learn more in Wallets: personal and project.
