Connecting to a node
How to connect to a rented node with RustDesk or AnyDesk.
You connect to a node over remote desktop, using RustDesk or AnyDesk. Both clients are already installed on the node, so use whichever you prefer.
Where to find the sign-in details
Right after the session starts, the Node access block on the Active sessions page shows:
- the node ID (separate ones for RustDesk and AnyDesk),
- the connection password.
For RustDesk, the card also shows a Server and a Key. Enter them once in the RustDesk client: Settings → Network → ID/Relay server and Key.
How to connect
- Open RustDesk or AnyDesk on your computer (you can download them from their official websites).
- Enter the node ID in the connection field.
- Enter the password when the app asks for it.
- The node’s remote desktop opens, and you can start working.
If the password doesn’t work
Passwords are rotated when the node is prepared. If the details don’t work, refresh the session page, and the ID/password fields will update. If the problem persists, end the session and start it again, or contact support.
Security
Between rentals, each node goes through maintenance with password rotation, so the previous renter cannot connect to your session. Keep your working files in your own folder (accessed via Gmail), not on the node’s local disk. See Node isolation and security.
